WHAT MAKES US SPECIAL
At Children’s Medical Group we take pride in our ability to keep your child out of the Emergency Room/Urgent Care. We are a complete medical home and are able to take care of all urgencies such as MRSA abscesses, wound suturing, and other minor injuries in our office.
What makes us different from the everyday pediatric practice is that our providers have the training, knowledge, and skill to look after more complex conditions "in house" - such as asthma, acne, atopic dermatitis/eczema, seizures, mood/emotional problems and ADHD, genetic conditions such as Down syndrome and sickle cell disease, and many other common and not-so-common pediatric problems.
This AVOIDS our patients needing to travel over the bridge, missing work/school and incurring unnecessary costs.
If the unique complexity of the condition requires it we will arrange for your child to see the most nationally reputed specialists with the latest research in that area/ disease.
And even in the 21st century, real people still answer our phones!
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
OUR GOAL IS TO GIVE YOUR CHILD THE BEST CARE POSSIBLE.
WE ARE ALWAYS ON CALL FOR OUR PATIENTS FOR EMERGENCIES WHEN THE OFFICE IS CLOSED.
Weekend/holiday morning hours are available by appointment only.
Out of hours, we are available for emergencies via Skype “video visits”. We do not use a nurse triage line. Open Skype, search for CMGOSBY, and send a message stating the child's name, date of birth and the problem. The doctor will call you through your Skype app. If you don't hear anything in 15-20 minutes please send a video call to CMGOSBY.
If you don't get an answer in 15 minutes, please call 410-546-3173 and push 1 to be connected to our answering service.
Our Skype ID is CMGOSBY. If you DO NOT see video, touch the screen; then touch the button to the right of the red button which looks like a square with a”C” in front.
CALL 911 IN CASE OF TRUE LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCY.
Otherwise, don’t go to the ER or Urgent Care- call your pediatrician!
